Dwarf shrub from University of Saskatchewan. A notably productive cultivar with small cherries that have a high flesh-to-pit ratio. A preferred variety for freezing and drying thanks to its firm flesh. The smallest of the Romance series cherries, Carmine Jewel tops out at around 6-7'.
