One of the most disease-resistant varieties available and a favourite for organic production. Released from Geneva, NY in 1978. Resistant to scab, mildew, fireblight, and cedar apple rust. Fruits are bright red skinned with sweet creamy flesh. Heavy cropper. Fruit stores well to at least February.
