We use these ribbons when tracking certain growths/pests/pruning or anything that needs a follow-up or to be monitored. They are so bright you can see them across the field, and the different colours allow you to easily colour code things. Each roll is 100' long. The biodegradable options last 6-12 months outdoors. The regular ones last about a year.
