Saturday, February 28 - 9AM in Kitchener: Kitchener Public Library

Seedy Saturday is a grassroots event that originated around 1990 as a way for local communities to gather, share, and celebrate seeds. These community events are held annually in various locations, particularly in Canada and the United Kingdom, though similar events are now found in other countries as well. Seedy Saturday events are typically focused on seed swapping, seed saving, and educating participants about sustainable gardening (sustainable food), along with food & seed sovereignty.
