Order Adjustment and Cancellation Policies

Changing Your Order Once it is Confirmed

To change your order, please email sales@silvercreeknursery or call 519-804-6060 with your request.

You are welcome to add plants to your order at almost any time! For orders being shipped out, we are happy to add plants to your order at any time up until your order is being boxed up for delivery and for pickup orders you are welcome to add plants even when you're here at the nursery.

If you want to remove plants from your order, you can do so at no cost if your order has not yet been processed. We begin processing/picking orders in November for fall orders and as early as December for spring orders.

If you want to remove a plant from your order or swap a plant out for a different one and we have already begun processing/picking you order, there is a $25 or 10% (whichever is higher) restocking fee for any item(s) removed from the order.

Cancelling Your Order/Items on Your Order

To cancel you order, phone or email us. If your order has not been processed (we begin processing fall orders in November and spring orders as early as December), we can simply cancel the order and will send you a refund if you have paid. If you have paid a 25% deposit to hold the order and decide to cancel it afterwards, the deposit will not be refunded.

If we have begun processing the order and you wish to cancel, a $25 or 10% (whichever is higher) restocking fee will be applied.  The restocking fee will be charged in addition to the 25% deposit.

Unfulfilled Bareroot Orders at the End of the Season

If you have not picked up your bareroot order from us or failed to pay for an order that was being shipped by the end of the spring sales season (ends late May) then your order will be cancelled automatically. Unfulfilled orders will only be refunded upon request and you must reach out to us within 90 days of the end of the sales season. A $25 or 10% (whichever is higher) restocking fee will be applied. If a 25% deposit was paid on the order, it will not be refunded and the restocking fee will be charged in addition to the deposit.

Any fall bareroot orders that are not picked up or were supposed to be shipped out but were not paid for by the end of the fall season (usually mid to late November) will be held until spring. See above for orders that are not fulfilled in the spring.

Potted Plants Not Picked Up Within Allotted Timeframe

All potted plants must be picked up within one month of the order date. Potted plant orders that are not picked up within this window will be cancelled and refunded minus a $25 restocking fee to cover the additional costs of reserving and caring for the potted plants during that time. If a 25% deposit was paid to hold the plants and they are not picked up from us, the 25% deposit will not be refunded and the $25 restocking fee will be charged in addition to the deposit.

While we may extend the pickup window on a case-by-case basis, particularly for larger orders, customers are responsible for arranging this with us. There may be additional care/maintenance fees added to the order at our discretion.

We do not hold potted plants through the winter for customers.
