Holistic Spray Workshop

Ever wondered about the mysterious 'Holistic Spray' we mention? Learn all about it in this workshop. Join us bright and early to discuss spraying, the ingredients in a holistic spray, when, where, and most importantly, why! We will show you our set up and offer advice to make your own spray, for your own localized pest and disease pressures. Rain date TBD if needed. Email sales@silvercreeknursery.ca to get your name on the list - space is limited! Cost: pay-what-you-can, suggested price $20-$25 per person, funds will go to our test orchards.

Apple Grafting Workshop - SOLD OUT FOR 2025

Join us for a hands-on, in-person grafting lesson! We will walk you through the history and theory behind grafting, give you a chance to try grafting out for yourself, and by the end of the workshop you'll have grafted five of your own apple trees to plant at home! Click HERE for more information and email us at sales@silvercreeknursery.ca if you want to be added to the preregistration list for our 2026 workshop.

Our Holistic Philosophy

We view the farm as more than just a place of production — it’s a living, interconnected system. Every workshop reflects this whole-systems approach, where soil health, biodiversity, human well-being, and environmental stewardship are deeply interwoven. Whether you’re a beginner fruit grower, gardener, aspiring homesteader, or experienced land steward, our workshops are designed to meet you where you are and guide you forward.

Hands-On, Community-Focused

Our workshops are interactive, inclusive, and rooted in real experience. You’ll be working in our orchard, among trees and soil, learning not just the "how" but the "why." We emphasize collaborative learning, shared meals from the land, and moments of reflection to integrate your experience fully.

Who Should Attend?

  • Gardeners, homesteaders, and farmers
  • Educators and environmental advocates
  • Designers and planners interested in sustainable systems
  • Anyone seeking to live more in tune with the Earth

Join us in cultivating more than food — cultivate a deeper relationship with the land, a clearer understanding of natural systems, and a renewed sense of purpose.
