This perry pear has been known since the 1800's around Lake Constance where it is still grown. It doesn't keep well, however it is prized for its high disease resistance, juiciness, and astringent flavour. The skin is greenish-yellow, speckled with russet spots. Sugar content of 10-11% by weight.
